With a slight hint of annoyance in his amber eyes he made his way through the seemingly endless fields, making up the territory he had come to love over the years. He loved the looks of the yellow, glowing golden in the upcoming sun, the hint of heathery scent in the air, carried on a soft leaf-fall breeze. Not yet as cold as those of leaf-bare, not as warm as those of Greenleaf. A perfect balance it surely was. And yet, the tom didn't get to fully appreciate his surroundings, not just because he was a hunter of prey hidden deep under the ground. It more so being the heavyweight upon his shoulders that kept him from feeling any sparks of joy whilst overlooking the sunlit glades. Why Wolfstar felt the need to make him the new deputy, it were merely questions never to be answered for now. He was tired, that was for sure, wasn't too keen on cleaning up the mess that was his clan in it's current state, yet knowing he had too and definitely would try to. However, this did not mean he had to do it smilingly, with great joy, for there is no joy in cleaning up, the hint of annoyance there at the start wouldn't leave his eyes, not yet.
