Her paws are short and a little bit sturdy. Despite the lack of Warrior training they are still pretty muscular, which makes her an excellent swimmer. Her fur has a white and creamy colour throughout her whole body, with soft stripes marking her. It’s also very soft and fluffy. She takes good care of her fur, making it shine in the sun. Her tail has an average length and is just as soft and fluffy as her fur. Her eyes are beautifully blue and they always looks soft and caring. Her bit small ears are mostly pointed forward and a small, sweet smile is how you’ll best know her. She thinks and feels with depth, letting some emotions get the better of her at times. Shrimppaw has big dreams and she is willing to fight for them. She is very caring for others and always tries to help. When meeting new cats, she is still pretty insecure. Yet she has grown to be a lot more confident. She talks to others quicker and also isn’t always afraid anymore to speak her opinion. Yet this is almost only with cats she trusts and is close with. But if it’s for an important matter, she won’t hesitate to call out what she thinks is right. This can result in a bit of impulsiveness, since Shrimppaw strives to do what is right. Yet she handles with care, warmth and sensitivity. She sees helping others as her purpose and is troubled by injustice. She hopes to change big things, yet she won’t forget the small things either. She values deep relationships between her family and friends. She doesn’t tend to share her problems with cats she doesn’t know that well. Quality time is something she loves and values and she gets sad when she hasn’t been close to someone loved. Yet she does need to take her own time alone to recharge and process things on her own. Since Shrimppaw had to learn to do things on her own from pretty early on, she has grown quite independent. She is still nervous when she needs to do things on her own, but she grows more confident with each time. She has difficulty hiding her smile and soft giggles may escape her mouth. She thinks once again about how great life is and how grateful she is to be surrounded by her loved ones. [i]Sadness[/i] ~ Her ears hang a little to the side with her tail low. A teary smile may appear on her face since she doesn’t want to attract attention by her sadness. She tries to push herself through it, but once she is alone or with cats she trusts she will break down. [i]Anger[/i] ~ It’s something rare, even for Shrimppaw. She will be surprised by her own anger, but nonetheless will use her voice to speak up. Her voice may tremble at the start of sentences, but gradually becomes steadier. Her fur rises up a bit and her once soft eyes stand hard. [i]Boredom[/i] ~ It’s not common for Shrimppaw to be bored, since she has a lot of things to do on a day. Yet when she does have some free time to spare and becomes a little bored she will usually leave the Camp to make a swim in the river. [i]Tiredness[/i] ~ Tiredness is something she became more and more familiar with when things get tougher. She will always try to push herself through it and has to learn to take her rest as well. [i]Stress[/i] ~ This is also a thing she experiences more. She will try her best to hide it from others, but luckily she has learned to take some time apart for herself. She will then go out for a walk to clear her head and come back with an eased mind. The first born was her sister Crabkit, and after her followed her brother Hermitkit. The three really have what you call sibling love. They fight together and have their arguments, where Shrimpkit mostly is in the middle of it. But despite their differences and all that, they truly care for eachother. Shrimpkit loves her brother and sister a lot and she would do anything for them. Since their biological parents couldn't take care of them they got a fosterdad: Icecream. Shrimpkit thinks he is really nice and she really loves him. She hopes she can do a lot of fun things with him and that he will protect her and help her whenever. She also hopes that he can control Crabkit, since she is a whole lot to everyone. The three siblings also got a grandma now; Icecreams mother Crystalshell. Shrimpkit likes her and hopes to hear a lot of fun stories from her.[/blockquote][/td] [td][img]https://i.imgur.com/EFYyP11.png[/img][/table][/td][blockquote]In the meantime, when they were [b]2 moons[/b] old, another kitten in the Nursery named Ravenkit attacked their nest while Shrimpkit was the only one there. Shrimpkit thought he was very scary, since he started screaming things about a RavenClan. He also called himself Ravenstar. He wanted their nest for more territory but Shrimpkit refused to give it. He almost attacked her, but luckily her siblings Crabkit and Hermitkit came to the rescue. Some days later Crabkit announces a war between the two Kitten Clans, since Crabkit now calls herself Crabstar from CrabClan. Shrimpkit was appointed the Medicine Cat of CrabClan by Crabstar. The name her sister gave her was Shrimpbay. Shrimpkit thinks it's all a bit over the top and hopes they can just have peace together, but by the looks of it that won't happen any time soon. After the so called war, Shrimpkit decides to pay Honorkit a visit, a kitten who shared the same believes as her during the kitten war. Shrimpkit thinks she is very nice and eventually dared to talk to her. They ended up playing and Shrimpkit considers her as a friend now. During a visit their father Icecream payed, Crabkit proposed the idea of learning how to swim. Their father went with it and not much time later they found themselves in the back of the Nursery, where there is a little bit of the river where kittens can learn how to swim from an early age. Shrimpkit is a little scared at first, but eventually dares to get in. The water reaches to her belly, which she is very proud of. Her father makes the experience all together even more special by complimenting her, saying she's doing it very well. Not much time later, at the age of [b]3 Moons[/b], she asks her dad Icecream to accompany her to her journey outside the Nursery. She got sick of the things Crabkit constantly told her and saw in it might indeed be time to discover the world outside of the trusted Nursery. She learns a lot and is happy her dad went with her to show her around, and of course protect her from the scary outside. [table][td][img]https://i.imgur.com/FYBo3PR.png[/img][/td] [td]When Shrimpkit reached the age of [b]4 Moons[/b], she noticed her sister Crabkit wasn't around as much. Confused she stumbled upon Honorkit, who was covered in mud and was crying. Concerned, Shrimpkit asked where Crabkit is, which she gets the answer to that she's gone, together with Ravenkit. Shrimpkit learns from her grey friend that they went outside the camp with an Apprentice, Rosepaw, and never returned. Shrimpkit is especially confused and doesn't understand the situation that well, but what she does know is that there's little chance the two kittens will ever return. During a RiverClan Ceremony she hears that Crabkit and Ravenkit got abducted by a dangerous BloodClanner named Lethal. Of course, Shrimpkit doesn't know Lethal and she knows very little of BloodClan aswell. More so because she avoided the scary stories that got told about them, because they'd frighten her. The Clan is still searching for the Kits, but the little hope Shrimpkit had that Rainpaw gave her almost dissapeared. What if they really don't get back?[/td][/table] Sad about this news, the little kitten walked back to the Nursery, trying to hold back the tears. Yet then her dad Icecream notices her and stops her, which makes her break into the big crying session she needed all this time. Her brother Hermitkit joins them with the heroic thought of going after them to save them. Shrimpkit still has a bit of hope, but her dad makes that go away. He tells them they will do everything they can to bring them back, but the chance they will ever come back is very little. Shrimpkit doesn't know how to cope with this knowlegde. When she is [b]5 moons[/b] old, she is doubting if she wants to become an Apprentice. She wants to, to learn how to become a Warrior and to search for Crabkit and Ravenkit. But the thought of going outside of the Camp and risk getting abducted aswell makes her scared. What if she isn't strong enough, or what if her dad comes too late? Due to all of this doubt, a good conversation with her dad and another Warrior named Sorrelpool, made that she is certain she wants to become a Warrior. Though, certain is still a big word. But she gained more confidence and told herself she'd at least try to have fun and make friends. In the meantime she also saw snow for the first time and had a fun time playing around in it with her chosen sister Honorkit and also Whitekit. She also introduces Honorkit for the first time to water, in the little river in the back of the Nursery. She also learns what being blind is actually like, thanks to Faintlight. Just before she becomes an Apprentice, Honorkit decides to surprise her by putting things from outside in her nest. It is decorated with a twig, a stone, an empty snailhouse and a feather. Her dad Icecream helped to bring it. Shrimpkit is very touched by this and it takes her mind off of the worries she still has about her sister Crabkit. Speaking of, her dad didn't have good news. He told her and her brother Hermitkit that he has spoken to Crabkit. Her name is now Skadi, and she doesn't want to return back to RiverClan. Shrimpkit wonders if it would have been the same for her if she would've been the one getting abducted. Icecream tells them they must stay away from Skadi at all costs, because he doesn't want to loose them as well. Shrimpkit understands his reasoning but isn't quite sure she would turn around upon seeing her lost sister again...[/justify][/blockquote] [center][img]https://i.imgur.com/3PCIJS0.jpg[/img][/center] [table][td][blockquote][justify]The day she dreaded finally comes. She is [b]6 moons[/b] when Pantherstar holds the Ceremony. Shrimpkit recieves her name Shrimppaw and gets Littlefish as her mentor. Shrimppaw doesn't know Littlefish and hopes she is a good mentor with whom she can feel herself with. And hopefully Littlefish isn't all too strict... But before she starts her training, she asks Hermitpaw to claim a spot in the Apprentice Den together. There he tells her he wants to sneak out to search for Crabkit, even when their father said he didn't want them to. Shrimppaw is doubting about this, but eventually agrees on the condition they'd both have a fight training for the basics. For her first training with Littlefish she is quite nervous, but warms up pretty quickly. She learns about RiverClans territory. Soon after she asks for a fight training, which she gets. After that she agrees to go with Hermitpaw to search for their lost sister.[/justify][/blockquote][/td] [td][img]https://i.imgur.com/fAxo3Tk.gif[/img][/table][/td][blockquote][justify]Hermitpaw en she sneak away to Twoleg Territory, where they soon find their lost sister. They try talking her into coming back home, but Crab - or now Skadi - won't listen, telling them she belongs with the Elite and is chosen by StarClan to become great there. Shrimppaw has difficulty believing that, and just wants her to come back home. Their sister however threatens them and later attacks Hermitpaw. Shrimp tries to knock off the fighting and decides she wants to go home. She feels like she's abandoning her sister, but this fighting isn't helping either. Eventually they manage to leave. When she is [b]7 moons[/b] old, a couple of ShadowClanners come to RiverClan to ask for help. Their Clan has been taken over by BloodClan, and Tallstar had betrayed them. As soon as Coyotespirit announced she needed a helping hand, Shrimppaw volunteered. She wanted to help, but she also really wanted to see if her sister were there too. As soon as they arrived there, chaos breaks out. Shrimppaw picked out a spot with the herbs and is waiting for Coyotespirit to return from the Medicien Cat's Den, but she doesn't. Instead, she meets her sister again. Shrimp tries to get through to her, saying she doesn't want to fight and this isn't needed. Skadi however attacks her anyway, and Shrimp realizes it's too late for her to return home. She fights back, making some scratches, but luckily she gets saved by her mentor Littlefish. The Clans loose the fight and return home. Chivysniff there took away her own life, which makes the moral of the Clan not great either. Shrimppaw can't stop thinking about her sister as well. Some days after the fight, Coyotespirit announces that StarClan has given her a sign of who the next Medicine Cat Apprentice will be. Shrimppaw is really surprised to hear her own name, but when realization hits she is very honored by StarClans choice.[/justify][/blockquote][table][td][img]https://i.imgur.com/VMRQX2h.png[/img][i]© Butter[/i][/td] [td][blockquote]Shrimppaw soon gets her first training as Medicine Cat Apprentice. Coyotespirit wants to start off with a little game which let them to get to know each other better. Shrimppaw is glad she does this, because now she feels more comfortable with her new mentor. Then she asks about the Medicine Cat's Code and learns more about the herbs. When she was asked to search for some plants she was shocked to learn she picked out one of the most poisonous plants. Luckily she was safe enough to not take it into her mouth. In the days that passed, Shrimppaw tried studying almost every second of the day. Yet it didn't really result in anything when she took the wrong herbs for Seamist's pregnancy sickness. It was only one herb, but Shrimppaw felt pretty guilty to make the Queen so anxious. She tried to better herself even more, even though she knew she couldn't get everything right in one go. When she is training with Coyotespirit at [b]8 Moons[/b] to improve her tracking skills they discover murdered cats at Steppingstones. Some believe it was the work of the Crescentkiller. One of them is Seahawk, a RiverClan Warrior. Coyotespirit sends Shrimppaw back to the Camp to tell Pantherstar and to bring Warriors.[/blockquote][/td][/table] [blockquote][justify]Despite her still being a little scared of cats outside of her own Clan, she was close to the border. It could've been a disaster, but whom she met was Aegir. She was surprised to notice that he was still rather nice, even though he was living with BloodClan. They talked a bit and she heard the same story Skadi gave her about them being the chosen from StarClan. Shrimppaw doesn't believe that is true, but doesn't dare to speak against it. Soon after they have the Half Moon Gathering with all the Medicine Cat's and their Apprentices. Shrimppaw meets the others and decides she likes them. even though they don't really have much time for talking. She dreams together with Chivysniff, who accepts her as RiverClans Medicine Cat Apprentice. Shrimppaw asks her about Aegir and Skadi, but StarClan can't help them anymore. To end the visit on a positive note, Chivysniff learns her things about the skeleton of the cat. Some time later Dreampaw suddenly bursts in at the Camp, saying that Brimpaw and Icecream are taken away by Twolegs. Shrimppaw's heart cramps together at this knowledge and even though she really wants to search for her father, she doesn't dare to come close to the Twoleg Place. Luckily there are Patrols looking out for them. After some days Brimpaw reappears. Shrimppaw isn't at all relieved when she learns that Icecream isn't with her. She almost starts to believe he won't come back. Luckily, some time later he does come back, making Shrimppaw the happiest girl in the world. She goes to the Gathering with the Clan, where she talks with Pepperpaw.[/justify][/blockquote][table][td][justify][blockquote]At [b]9 Moons[/b] she has mostly made peace with the fact that Skadi and Aegir aren't coming back to RiverClan, she is still sad about it. She also has more responsibility now, which results in her not having much time for others anymore. She is saddened by this and after a talk with Hermitpaw about how they both missed eachother, she decides to spend more time with her family and friends again. She joins Hermitpaw and Crystalshell on a training where she learns to fight better. Sometime later Crystalshell discovers about Pantherstars death, so she travels to the Moonstone to get her nine lives. When she comes back as Crystalstar she appoints Blueflower as her Deputy. But, Crystalstar is pregnant and soon after that, she gives birth to her kittens. Shrimppaw helped her on her own, but luckily there weren't any complications. After spending some more time with her friends and other Clanmates, she finds a bloody Hermitpaw coming into the camp. As it turned out, he was attacked by Skadi. Coyotespirit wasn't around, so Shrimppaw tried helping him as best as she could. Later they talked about Skadi and cried together, mourning their lost sister.[/justify][/blockquote][/td] [td][img]https://i.imgur.com/9bSXpVH.png[/img][/td][/table][blockquote][justify]When Shrimppaw is [b]10 Moons[/b], Coyotespirit resigns as Medicine Cat, leaving the young Apprentice on her own. Shrimppaw understands the reason, but is burdened with doubt about herself. To recieve guidance from StarClan, she travels with Lynxfang to the Highstones that night. There she talks with Chivysniff, who tells her she will be trained by all deceased Medicine Cats in StarClan. Because she is pretty much on her own now with her Medicine Cat duties, Icecream helps her out as much as he can. Though the only thing he could do is collect some herbs and assist sometimes, Shrimppaw values his company and support above all. It's a bit later when Shrimppaw helps the Deputy Blueflower with bringing her kits back to the camp, since she gave birth in the territory. Shrimppaw talks with Honorpaw and hears that her friend is in love with Hermitpaw. Shrimppaw, though a bit weirded out, supports her friend. She hopes her brother won't be making a scene and that maybe, they'll find love. Shrimppaw is personally confronted with the fact she won't be able to start a family or have a mate. In between her busy schedule, Shrimppaw has a dream training with Doveheart, the ex-Medicine Cat of ThunderClan.[/justify][/blockquote][table][td][img]https://i.imgur.com/K5OL89h.png[/img][i]© Sanne[/i][/td][td][blockquote]When Shrimppaw is [b]11 Moons[/b], a Warrior from ShadowClan enters the Camp. Shrimppaw doesn't know why he is there, since Crystalstar won't give out any information. That night she hears some disturbing sounds, but she is too scared to confront Crystalstar about it. The very next day a patrol from ShadowClan enters their territory. Shrimppaw, out collecting herbs, hears the commotion it caused by a patrol of her own Clan. Shrimppaw makes sure the patrol can enter their Camp. Twistedheart, the ShadowClan Warrior, is sent back with the patrol. Even before she can talk to Crystalstar about it, the Leader finds her. Shrimppaw lets her opinion be known about it, she is against the actions of her Leader. She's also a bit afraid of her, since she isn't the she-cat she once got to know as kitten. Crystalstar tries to make sure she isn't out for war, in between Clans and their own relationship also. Shrimppaw decides to have a talk with Blueflower about the Leader. She doesn’t like having the conversation, but feels like she has to. Blueflower isn’t very comfortable with it either, but ensures her that Crystalstar promised her Deputy to tell her everything. Blueflower promised Shrimppaw too to not hold anything back, which Shrimppaw really appreciates. She decides to talk to Crystalstar herself.[/blockquote][/table][/td][justify][blockquote]She is [b]12 Moons[/b] when she goes to the Gathering, yet the Gathering doesn't help Shrimppaw ease her thoughts and feelings. She doesn't agree with how Crystalstar portrays herself and RiverClan, but stays silent. It seems to end on a promise of war, when StarClan strikes. Or so she thought. Twolegs entered the Fourtrees and destruct one of the trees. In de midst of the chaos Shrimppaw is pulled up to StarClan, where she receives her first Prophecy, together with the image of herself soaked in blood. When she is back on Fourtrees it's still chaos, with cats having lost their lives aswell. Shrimppaw however has difficulty processing and isn't of any real help. She is ashamed of herself when they're back in Camp, where she voices her opinion during a Warrior Assembly. She just really hopes there won't be an upcoming war, but with the past events Shrimppaw is anxious there might. That’s why she talks to Crystalstar about it, privately. Crystalstar ensures her she won’t be the first to strike, but there will certainly be a war between RiverClan and ShadowClan. Shrimppaw has nothing left to give in to that fact and organises extra Herb Patrols to prepare for the upcoming war. Shrimppaw hasn’t told Crystalstar and Blueflower about the Prophecy yet, but that’s because she wanted to figure it out first. When she is ready, she calls the two she-cats to her Den, where they can talk about it. Shrimppaw later has a very intense training with Smokebreath in StarClan, where she learns about poison and venom. She gets bitten by a snake and has to treat herself. Smokebreath is tough on her, but she learns some valuable things. Just like when he tried to let her eat a deadberry, but she refused to. She was happy to notice he was actually pleased with that reaction. At the end Shrimppaw realised she could be stronger than she is now and she also appreciates his soft words when she talks about being afraid of death by her patients. [/blockquote][/justify] [table][td][blockquote][justify]Falconpaw comes to visit RiverClan for his last moon of Medicine Cat Apprenticeship, when Shrimppaw is [b]13 Moons[/b]. It’s kind of a final assessment, sent there to help Shrimppaw but most importantly learn from each other. Shrimppaw is very happy with the company, especially because she sees Falconpaw as one of her friends. Almost immediately after his arrival the war between RiverClan and ShadowClan is about to happen. Shrimppaw dispises it, and more so the reason behind it all. She is glad she has Falconpaw with her on the battlefield, as she is sure it's going to be tough to deal with all the wounded, and maybe losses. And losses they had. They lost Rookchirp, and Shrimppaw isn't sure how to react when she learns Newtpaw had killed her. After Crystalstar and Acornstar both lost a life they ended the fighting. Both Clans returned to their Camps, where Shrimppaw and Falconpaw treated everyone. The day after Shrimppaw woke up by horrifying screams. Hermitshell said she was needed by Crystalstar. The Leader had a miscarriage, no one had known she was pregnant. Shrimppaw tries her best to help the mourning mother. The family later gathers to say goodbye to the little kitten. Due to being so busy and all the stress she forgets to look after a patient, Stormwind. She hears Brimstone's cry and finds the body of the Senior Warrior. Brimstone more or less attacks her. Shrimppaw can't handle it anymore, and flees out of the Camp. Eventually she musters up the courage to come back and say her final goodbye to Stormwind, avoiding Brimstone.[/justify][/blockquote][/td][td][img]https://i.imgur.com/vKJD2vb.jpg[/img][i]© Elfje[/i][/td][/table][blockquote][justify]Falconpaw, who disappeared the last night returns to the RiverClan Camp as Falconstrike. Shrimppaw couldn't be happier for him, but feels sad to see him leaving. Now she is by herself again, without a good friend to help her with RiverClans patients. When it's finally starting to get warmer, the snow melts too fast for the forest to take. Water floods the territories, including RiverClans Camp. They have to flee to higher grounds. The Clan builds up a temporary Camp on the Highlands. When Shrimppaw is [b]14 Moons[/b] she wakes in the middle of the night. Next to her nest she discovers a little pile of smouldering smoke. Next she sees a little blue light, a wisp. A strange feeling takes over as Shrimppaw follows the little light out of the temporary Camp. Soon she finds out where the light is headed: The Highstones. With nervosity and doubts about herself she presses her nose against the Moonstone. Soon she's in StarClan, meeting with Smokebreath. She admits she feels like a failure for not being able to save cats. Smokebreath is annoyed at her self-doubt, and throws her into a river. She learns not to constantly say sorry, and stand her ground as Medicine Cat. She looks at it with curious eyes and echoes the words of Smokebreath in her head. She wouldn't have to do it alone for long. She takes the little mouse as a sign and returns back home. Back at the Camp Shrimpnose gathers her confidence and speaks to the Clan, telling them the news she has received her full name. Followed by the announcement that Mousepaw will be taking the rank of Medicine Cat Apprentice. Sadly, Mousepaw doesn't like this news at all and runs out of the Camp. Shrimpnose follows her soon after the congratulations of the Clan and tries talking with her. She's glad to have come to some sort of understanding with her new Apprentice at [b]15 Moons[/b] old, even though she knows it's not going to be an easy mentorship. That thought is confirmed at their first training, where she has trouble really connecting with Mousepaw.[/justify][/blockquote][/td][/table][blockquote][justify]While she cares for the Clan and teaches Mousepaw all she needs to know, Blueflower goes missing. A search party is organised, but after some days Crystalstar decides it's time for a new Deputy. Shrimpnose doesn't want to lose hope that Blueflower is still alive, but she understands the need for a Deputy. Carrioncough gets chosen. Shrimpnose isn't sure what to think of the tom-cat just yet. Not soon after that a Half Moon Gathering takes place when she is [b]16 Moons[/b] old. Shrimpnose dreams together with Smokebreath again. She receives a Prophecy with good news. Better times may really be ahead. Shrimpnose is happy to learn Mousepaw has gotten officially accepted by StarClan, and they return home. There she has a meeting with Crystalstar and Carrioncough about the good news. Crystalstar seems wary, but Shrimpnose is glad to see Carrioncough accept the good news.[/justify][/blockquote][table][td][blockquote][justify]Just as the Prophecy foretold some time ago, good times come when Shrimpnose is [b]17 Moons[/b]. The water retreats back to the rivers. The flood is gone and RiverClan can go back to their official Camp. Shrimpnose is glad to go back home. Meanwhile she still has trouble connecting to Mousepaw, but she is glad to see her learning. In the following moons, when Shrimpnose reaches the age of [b]18 Moons[/b], she has a spontaneous talk with Carrioncough in the Small Forest. She's still a bit wary of the tom-cat, especially when he asks her about what he could do differently if he would become the Leader. Shrimpnose tells him in all honesty she would like to have a bit more say in what happens in the Clan, as the Medicine Cat has the closest connection with StarClan. She also hears from him that he has fought with Newtspark, because the ShadowClan Medicine Cat claims to have killed Rookchirp in the war. Carrioncough asks if StarClan would be upset with him. The Medicine Cat doesn't say anything, but is glad to hear Crystalstar apologizing for what she did to the poor ShadowClan Warrior, Twistedheart. Meanwhile Settleddust (Acornstar is nowhere to be seen) and Eveningstar fight about Newtspark. Shrimpnose has no idea what exactly has happend, but she is glad RiverClan is no part of it. Later, when Shrimpnose is [b]20 Moons[/b], someone named Rose comes back to RiverClan. It was revealed she is Rosepaw, the one who took Ravenkit and Crabkit on a trip out of the Camp, which got the kittens kitnapped by BloodClan. Shrimpnose is hurt by the feelings coming back up from that time. She takes place between the Warrios consulting Crystalstar about what to do about the ex-RiverClanner. Shrimpnose is outraged when she hears the Leader thinks about a death penalty, and lets her voice hear loud and clear. She tells her she won't look on how they sink to BloodClans level.
