Let op. Dit is een Private rp maar altijd open voor mensen om te joinen. De setting is renaissance en in principe worden hier paarden van de rpg blue moon horses gespeeld in menselijke vorm. Voor je in wil vallen stuur mij of Wazoula even een pm zodat we je kunnen helpen met de setting.

Haar blauwe ogen gleden heen en weer terwijl de koele avond wind aan haar lange zijden jurk trok. Het was een lange dag geweest maar de maan die aan de hemel stond was even aanlokkelijk als ieder ander voelde. Ze was niet de enige die over de straten doorstapte. Om haar heen liepen anderen langzaam met haar mee. Dezelfde pas die ze elke maand hadden. Het paleis lag voor haa ogen.

Hoe de wereld eens zo diep had kunnen zinken was een vraag die ze zich vaak afvroeg. Maar er was geen woord wat ze er aan kon doen. Om haar heen liepen de families. Meerdere hoogstaande mannen met hun vrouwen en dochters. Zoons die aan de hand werden meegetrokken. Wie van hen zou het daglicht nog mogen aanschouwen na deze nacht.. Wie van hen zou voor altijd vergeten worden.

Delaney hoorde niet bij deze families maar kon niet ontkennen dat ook zij geacht werdt aanwezig te zijn op het gemaskerde bal voor zijne hoogheid Avanti. Heer en meester der duisternis. Wellicht was zij de enige die nog wat verstand bij kon brengen bij de donkerharige koning en zijn vijf slaafjes die hem als makke lammen volgde. En wellicht was zij juist degene die dit 'spectakel' elke maand opnieuw liet gebeuren. Haar ogen sloot voor de werkelijkheid en haar eigen fantasie probeerde realiteit te maken. Al met al. Vannacht zou weer iemand sterven. Iemand waar van gehouden werdt, iemand die gemist zou worden. En opnieuw zou zij geen woord kunnen spreken die het leven zou kunnen redden.

Met gesloten ogen plaatste ze het masker over haar gezicht en stapte door de enorme deuren door naar binnen langzaam haar blauwe kijkers opnieuw openend en rondkijkend naar de inmense schoonheid van dit paleis. Dit allemaal. Verkregen door zon verrot wezen als Avanti.. Werkelijk waar ironie in z'n puurste vorm..

A smug smile found its way to her lips as soon as she had put her black mask on and peeked into one of the giant mirrors that hung against the palace walls. Raven black feathers adorned the sides of the mask, fitting the feathers on her dark colored dress. She wore a new outfit for every ball, but always stuck to her own theme. The bright dresses some of the guests wore didn't fit her anyway. Green eyes peeked through the openings left in the mask, admiring her own image. You did not need to see her whole face to know she was a beauty.

Ayana passed the king on her way to the richly decorated hallway in which they received their guests. A knowing grin appeared on her face as she saw the slightest hint of excitement in his purple eyes. The fun had yet to start. She was careful to hide her fangs that had shown just a moment ago underneath her deep red lips. It would be bad to scare the guests away before the party had even started.

Her arms leaning on the banisters, she watched silently from the top of the stairs leading down to the main entrance hall. Her gaze shortly lingered on the ones that entered, before moving on to the next. Every ball there were some new faces, but most of them were known to her. It was very seldom that someone decided not to come. Which was good on one side and on the other a tad boring. Ayana let her gaze linger on a woman with white hair, before leaving her spot and walking down the stairs in her direction. "Welcome, miss Montgomery," she said before almost mockingly bowing as an act of courtesy.

The riches were not unknown to her. She had been here many times before but then again. That happens quickly once you're entangled in the darkness of his majesty's purple gaze. She wondered what would happen to her if she actually did dissapear one day. If she would take her riches and dissapear with the morning sun. The king did enjoy her company, mostly to torture her mind you, but would he really 'care' so much to follow her and hunt her down? Send his sheep afte rher and destroy her soul at last?

Would be quite the nice way to go.

She smiled soft at the thought and closed her eyes opening them once more as she heard a voice even her nightmares wouldnt dare to let her hear. "M'lady Ryvain." She answered in her soft sweet voice a sly smile on her lips as she looked at the raven black haired woman. Oh how she hated this woman. Of all of them. Every single one, king and his slaves was she the most disgusting one. She knew the way Ayana liked to play and what would happen once you were caught in her grasp. Yet none of the fear and disgust she felt would show through as she smiled at the woman. "It has been quite some time has it not?"

She was greeted with a smile, one as fake as her own, but evenly convincing. They could fool anyone but themselves. "Exactly a month, as always," she answered on a tone that hid everything just as her facial expressions. Many people said her voice both held something sweet as dark, but that only seemed to work in her favor. She always seemed to charm her guests without that much of an effort. If it had been, these festivities would have been more of an annoyance. A waste of energy. Luckily it always seem to pay off, even though she sometimes missed the thrill of the old fashioned hunt. "Would you care to accompany me to the ballroom?" Ayana held out her left arm as an invitation. Everyone knew not to deny anything that was asked of them by the king or his kingsguard. Especially not when it was Ayana asking.

They were actors both on the same level of deceit and to the entire world both as convincing. Ayana and Delaney. Perhaps in another time, another life they could've been friends. But this was this time and this life and they stood straight against eachother in an ongoing silent battle. One that would never seize to excist. Not untill the king and his man would lay dead. Everyone knew that and yet no one would speak a word.

It was a simple matter of life and death. He who spoke would die a gruesome death, though.. Many who didn't speak would also die this same death.

Softly nodded a slight movement with her head but enough for the dark haired woman to notice. A new dance would start this night. A terrible dance with fire and blood. But one she would accept. If only she could safe some lives tonight from the claws of Avanti and his men.

"Do tell me where is our king?"
