It was unlikely for Dallas to wander around the territory of BloodClan, however circumstances had led her to this moment and she was incredibly unhappy about it. Her ear twitched and she felt her muscles tensing with every step, BloodClan cats were no funny business and everyone with a little bit of wits about them knew to stay clear of the area. Apparently her sister now, was one of those cats. If it wasn't for their despicable reputation, maybe Dallas wouldn't have overreacted when Cyren told her the news. However, their mother had always warned them to stay away from that group and Dallas couldn't wrap her mind around the idea of Cyren joining them. She wasn't bad, was she? At least she'd never been like that towards her. Dallas knew she was at risk, snooping around in bright daylight but it had been weeks since she'd been in touch with her sister and Dallas had to make sure she was still alive. Even if she was, Dallas had to be lucky to find her and to not bump into any other strangers. Her amber eyes scanned her surroundings, as she hid between some ferns. Suddenly a familiair scent became present, and with a mix of happiness and fear she realized her sister was right behind her. Dallas turned around sharply and stared at the white fur that once felt like home, "I guess they've taught you how to properly sneak up on someone." Pretending like she wasn't startled at all and keeping her head high. Her way of establishing the fact that, no matter how evil her sister would become, Dallas hadn't lost her sass and wasn't afraid to challenge Cyren and her decisions.

She certainly wasn't used to her scent lingering around here anymore, which was why her initial reaction was that of surprise. It was no secret that Dallas despised the Elite, she had previously made that very clear. So as to why she would be be wandering around these streets, so close to Elite territory was a mystery to her. Surely her sister wouldn't be stupid enough to go look for her here, right? After all, it had been Dallas who has scolded her about the dangers of these murderous cats in the first place. With a flick of her tail Cyren went on her way following her trail, keeping track of her surroundings as to make sure no idiot would be following her. The months she had spent in the Elite had changed her drastically, but she hadn't lost her heart. Her sister still meant a lot to her, which was precisely why she wanted Dallas to stay far, far away from here. If her sister wouldn't even hear her approaching, then surely she wouldn't notice a full grown Elite member until it was far too late. They didn't take kindly to strangers round these parts. "And clearly no-one taught you to stay away from Elite territory," she knew her sister was hiding something, most likely her anxiety. Cyren sighed and eventually gave in, greeting her sister by pressing her nose against Dallas' cheek. "Why are you here, Dallas? They don't take that kindly towards young rogues, you know that," she scolded her sister. "Or have you finally come to your senses and decided to join me?" Cyren already knew the answer but was not planning on giving up the matter any time soon.

And there it was, the sudden surge of warmth that made the skin under her fur grow hot. There were no words to describe how happy Dallas was to see her sister, alive and well. The siblings were both stubborn making their initial reunion not the friendliest. As soon as Cyren pressed her nose against Dallas' cheek she couldn't help but smile slightly at the touch. Dallas sat down, relaxing in the situation. She noticed how she felt safer now that Cyren was here, but she stayed cautious nonetheless. Dallas didn't take Cyren's scolding lightly, how dare she? As if Dallas was the one in the wrong here? She knew Rogue life was tough and it might be easier to join a group, but out of all possibilities Cyren had to choose this one? "Don't act like you don't know why I'm here," she spat her tail flicking irritatedly. "Because my mousebrain of a sister joined the Elite, and didn't contact me after." Dallas tried to act tough but she could feel her voice crumble under the weight of emotions that pressed on her. She'd been lonely, and quite frankly a little miserable too. "I had to make sure you were alive, stupid." She said, the harshness of her tone dying down. There was a short silence between them, and Dallas neutrally remarked Cyren looked well-fed, in forest cat terms that is. Whatever it was she was doing with BloodClan, it wasn't treating her too poorly. Then again, she'd always been pretty and could easily cover bad living conditions with her looks. "I do miss you, actually." The tortoise she-cat finally admitted, carefully ignoring her comment to join her.

"Watch your tongue," she snapped back. Her voice remained quite calm but some annoyance was shining through in the way she flicked her ears. Cyren had learned to carefully hide any emotion she was feeling and had, in fact, gotten quite skilled at that. You couldn't say that for Dallas. Her calico sister was equally stubborn and pretended to act tough, but her voice crumbled slightly. "I had to make sure you were alive, stupid." Cyren narrowed her pale blue eyes in disbelieve and most certainly disapproval too. Dallas muttered that she had missed her and Cyren couldn't deny that she felt the same way, but she would not admit that now. "You had to make sure I was alive?" Her tail swayed from left to right, somewhat displaying her anger. A soft chuckle followed, though it was clearly sarcastic. Cyren casually ignored what Dallas had said last. Now more than ever she realized that her sister had to toughen up in order to survive. It was foolish and naive to think that simply being 'good' would get you anywhere in life, it certainly hadn't done that for their mother. "You're a blind fool, you know that? I am doing fine. Great, actually. But have you even looked at yourself? You're thin as a rake and not trained whatsoever, how do you plan to survive?" her words were sharp and very straight to the point. Surely that wasn't what Dallas wanted to hear but Cyren was not one to sugar coat what she had to say... And the calico knew that. Another sigh escaped her lips and her voice softened as she put her tail on Dallas' back. "Stop being so stubborn, why don't you just join me? You wouldn't have to grow hungry anymore and get proper training, I could protect you, Dallas, I just don't want you to end up like mom,"

Although Dallas recognized her sister, she had to admit her sibling had changed a lot already. She didn't know exactly how many moons she'd been with the Elite, but she was terrified for what would come if she stayed with them longer. Dallas had tried everything in her power already to persuade Cyren into a solitary existence but the white she-cat had refused time and time again. Eventually Dallas gave up, and that had led them to this meeting in the woods. Her ears lay flat on her had as her sister spoke, words flooded like it was nothing and Dallas narrowed her eyes at all the accusations that were thrown towards her. "I'll find my ways to survive," she hissed softly. To be very honest Dallas didn't really have any counter arguments to her commentary. As much as she hated to admit it, Cyren was right. Dallas had gotten skinnier. She was a skilled hunter, but threats from the Clans and leaf-bare had made it substantially more difficult to find prey and most days she'd go to sleep hungry. However, her strong mind had kept her alive and Dallas wasn't about to give in to the lifestyle Cyren had chosen for herself. Not that the doubt wasn't there, it burned strongly inside Dallas. BloodClan would mean a life with her sister, maybe even generally a better chance at life. But there was something holding her back and the calico cat knew she couldn't give up her values. "You know I can not do this, Cyren. Everything those cats stand for is wrong, they're evil." She meowed softly. "Besides, who says I need protecting?" In the end Cyren had always been the older sister figure to Dallas, but she hated to acknowledge that fact. Especially when she didn't agree with her and refused to follow her blindly into the path-way she created. "Tell me how you've been, sis." Dallas said, attempting to shifting the topic to something lighter.

Her hissing did not impress her at all. Cyren looked her sister calmly in the eye, waiting for even one solid argument. She already knew what would come, they had had this talk many a time before and so far it had always ended the same. Though Cyren was patient and she knew that there were some doubts troubling Dallas her mind. With any other cat Cyren would have stopped caring a very long time ago, in her opinion it was everyone's own responsibility to take care of themselves and if they were too stubborn to do so, it wasn't her problem when they eventually died off. Dallas was an exception to this, but her defiance was becoming somewhat of a nuisance. "Wrong?" she scoffed at her. "And who exactly are you to decide that, hm? Get off your high horse, in the end all we're doing is trying to survive. Your morals aren't going to keep you fed in the winter, you know," The white she-cat took a deep breath and didn't drag on the subject any longer even if she had plenty of other things to say. She knew she was right and wouldn't make a fool of herself trying to prove that. Winter would inevitably come around and perhaps Dallas would find a way to live through that, but if not she would eventually come around. Cyren would welcome her at the border and softly tell her 'I told you so'. "I've been thriving, it's nice to have a roof over your head," there was a sharp underlying undertone in her voice, making clear that she had not completely let go of their earlier subject. "Do you remember the park we used to go to? The humans have decorated it with all sorts of strange lights, it's beautiful," she felt a pang of sadness knowing she would not be able to take her sister there anymore but quickly shook it off. "What about you?"

Dallas couldn't get the truth in Cyren's words out of her head, she had been worrying about winter and knew she had to do something in order to survive. It would at least be easier if there was someone else that she could hunt with to increase her chances at survival. But Dallas was still alone and leaf bare was just around the corner. Clan cats became more territorial and wouldn't let her get away with hunting on their grounds during this harsh time. Dallas couldn't help but grin a little at Cyren's remark, it was just like her to have a double meaning to her words. "Yeah, must be nice to have a roof over your head indeed." She simply agreed, she felt her hostility die down a little bit, especially when Cyren mentioned the park they used to play in when they were kits. "I remember, it was such a nice spot." Dallas purred in reminiscing the memories she had shared with her snowy white sister. "I'd have to check it out, although I've heard your group has been roaming around there quit a lot. I'd hate for them to catch me," she mentioned. This time there was no bitchy undertone, just a statement. It was true, any other BloodClan cat would probably attack or kill Dallas without thinking twice. "I've been trying to find a place to live, but it isn't easy." She meowed, answering Cyren's question. "BloodClan has been expanding, ThunderClan is cautious about their borders. It simply doesn't leave a lot of room for Rogue's, most good and safe spots are taken anyway."

The hostility between the two sisters seemed to fade away once again, as it does between siblings. When they were still younger there had always been some falling outs between them, though never as serious as this. It was the first time in their lives they didn't spend all their fleeting moments together and even for the white she-cat, who doesn't seem to hake any emotional connections at all, it was somewhat troubling. Especially when digging up old memories, it stung that all of that would be gone forever. Unless Dallas would finally come to her senses, and she would in a few months. Cyren was patient. "Don't check it out," she said sternly. "It's official elite territory now, they'd kill you if they found you. Even if I take you there secretly, I'd get in trouble and that's not worth some pretty sight," perhaps if they had been trained masters of stealth, but the opposite was true. Cyren wouldn't risk her steady position in the Elite just to relive some old memories. Dallas voiced her issues and doubts, which were very much serious and real. The pearly white she-cat twitched her ear, feeling the urge to remind her sister once again how much of an ignorant, oblivious fool she was. Cyren repressed this though, knowing it would simply end in another fight since both were too stubborn to give up. Then again, why would she give up - she was right after all. "Perhaps you should head to the unclaimed territory behind the clans. I heard there are some farms and barns to be found there, might be some mice around." she didn't like that idea, knowing Dallas would have to travel quite a bit and the winds were already getting colder, carrying the caution of winter. "Or find a human home that'll take you in," there was clearly some disgust in her voice. Cyren had never liked the humans or the toy pet cats they kept but living in the Elite had pushed that despise even further. "Just find a way not too die, that would be inconvenient," she joked, a bit bitter and sarcastic.

Dallas didn't really know what she'd expected but the advice to go beyond the clanlands made her feel uneasy. That meant going further away from her sister and remaining alone. At this point in time she didn't really have another choice. With a sigh she met her sisters eyes and nodded in agreement. It probably was her best option. "I won't go there," she meowed in reply to the park, taking her words in with caution and obeying her. "I'll probably head out to the highlands first thing tomorrow, I think you're right. For now it's my best option." She continued, shortly gazing at the sky. "I'm going to miss you though," she admitted and shortly pressed her nose against her sisters. "So don't do anything stupid and I guess make them like you so you stay alive," the calico cat shifted uneasy at the thought of Cyren being in danger. "But I think you got that figured out already, you've always been a flirt." She grinned shortly, a hint of amusement flicking in her eyes. Dallas was a little more preserved when it came to all that jazz, but Cyren could be incredibly charming. No wonder they accepted her so quickly in the Elite, and other reasons Dallas didn't want to think about. She never thought of her sister as dangerous but other cats might think differently. "Will you come visit me some time if I stay there?" She meowed with a soft look in her eyes.

It went against her usual principles to go out of her way to help others. In her opinion cats should figure that out themselves, it wasn't her responsibility to keep them alive and breathing. If you were too dull to do so yourself then, frankly, you should not be here at all. Then again, her sister was an exception. Cyren knew she was intelligent enough, just very stubborn. Nevertheless it annoyed her that she had to worry about Dallas' safety. At her remark Cyren laughed and shook her head dismissively. "Oh it's not just my irresistible charm that got me my place," she mewed, her whiskers twitching with secret amusement. She learnt a lot about herself in the few months she had been there but the most important bit was that you could play cats like fiddles. She could, if she tried. "Dallas, just don't go and get yourself killed," it irritated her to no end that Dallas would be so far away, with barely any means of communication. Cyren wasn't one to require attention on a daily basis, but she did want to know that Dallas would be okay. That would be quite difficult now. "I'll come visit you mid winter, bring some mice to your starving ass," she half-joked after sighing.

Of course Dallas understood Cyren's concern, but she was getting tired of her constant worry. She tried very hard to not flick her tail in annoyance and kept telling herself it came from a good place. But there was a tension between them and Dallas worried it wouldn't go away until one of them gave in to the other. Luckily Cyren commented on her remark with just as much laughter which made the situation once again feel lighter. "Ah, I'm curious as to how many toms you've swept off their poor unfortunate paws." She grinned, "just wait until someone comes along and sweeps you off your feet." The situation sounded quite unlikely and no doubt that Cyren would absolutely protest against that idea, but deep inside Dallas was a hopeless romantic and strongly believed that there would be a cat that would be exactly right for her sister. Whatever that might mean. "Just be careful I don't eat you when I'm that hungry," she joked her lips curling up in amusement once again. "How's living in a Clan anyway?"

"I'll die before a man can make me feel that way," she hummed quite amused. It was clear that Cyren didn't regard tom-cats that highly, especially the ones in the elite. They had minds filled with a desire for destruction and far too much testosterone for their own good. Her former mentor had been a prime example of that, always showing off and flaunting his skills, until it had cost him his head in the end. Such was life. Whatever it was that was up there, it didn't take too fondly to hubris. "Just make sure you don't get your breath taken away by some farmer's boy," she winked at her tricolor sister, at whom's remark she laughed. "Hm, I thought only Elite cats resorted to cannibalism," gently she pushed Dallas against her shoulder, laughing softly. Somewhere it hurt. Cyren really liked to believe she could thrive completely on her own, but even for her the knowledge she would have to miss her sister for quite some time was hurtful. It made her want to stay here longer, cherish the moment. Something she wouldn't do for anyone else, although she would never voice that too Dallas herself. "It works," she simply shrugged at Dallas' her question. "Definitely took some getting used to, since there are suddenly so many cats around constantly. But it's certainly amusing, I can tell you that," there was a flicker in her pale blue eyes. "Big risks, big rewards. The effort you make pays off and it's never a dull day, you'll find our yourself some time" once again she winked at her sister, jokingly pushing at the subject once again.

Dallas couldn't keep in a small giggle when Cyren mentioned her imminent death thinking about a guy in her life. "Sure sis, just keep telling yourself that." Dallas licked her lips, noticing she was getting hungry. The last time she got a proper meal was the night before. "Nah, farmer's boys always look cute but they don't have even the slightest bit of brains in their body." She said with a bit of nonchalance in her voice. Dallas was the type of she-cat that would foolishly and romantically run after someone and they both knew it. "Remember that kittypet tom I used to follow around?" She laughed out loud, trying to make sense of her words. "He was such a stuck up human pet." The idea had become repulsive to her now. "I mean if I'm going to join them I might as well learn their ways," she sniggered, shooting back her own comment on BloodClan's cannibalistic ways. "Maybe I'll get sick of the farmers boys and come crawling back like a puppy with my tail between my legs." She mentioned, her tail flicking in amusement. "I'm super hungry, can you spare a couple of moments to hunt with me on the fields outside of this territory?"

Dallas tried to come across as someone who was quite nonchalant, however Cyren knew her better than that, which Dallas was most definitely aware of. "Well I'm quite positive you don't either, so maybe you'd make just a wonderful pair," she joked playfully, half expecting her sister to slap her for that remark. Her tricolored sister spoke of the kittypet she used to fancy back when they had still been out on the streets. The white she-cat her whiskers twitched in amusement, for she remember that very well. "You wear your heart on your tongue," she mewed. Cyren herself was quite different from that, especially when they were younger she seemed to have little to no interest in tom-cats. Now she only did when they were of use to her. She was pretty and she knew that, which sometimes allowed her to play empty headed toms like a fiddle. "Or... You could eat that farmer's boy once you get bored of him. Trust me, cat meat tastes just like chicken," she snapped her teeth at her sister, almost as if she was going to eat her nose off.Though, there was no intent to acctually harm her. Obviously Cyren hadn't acctually eaten another cat, so far she never had to. Dallas' request had her thinking for a moment. Ofcourse she could, she was free to go and do as she pleased, mostly. However, even though affinities with rogues wheren't as frowned upon as those with kittypets, she couldn't say for sure that some other Bloodclanner wouldn't follow them and bring harm to Dallas. Then again, this would probably be the last time they'd speak in a long while. In the end Cyren shrugged. "Fine. My mentor died, so I have time to spare anyway," she mewed heedlessly before checking if they were alone one more time and letting Dallas take the lead. She could go for a mouse or two.
