Vrolijk trippelde ze door het Windclan Territorium. Het was een prachtige dag, niet te koud, niet te warm, maar toch was de lucht best donker. Eigenlijk boeide het haar ook niet. Ze had zin in een wandeling naar de Rogue plaatsen dus dat was wat ze zou doen ook. Nu laatst wou ze alleen maar rust, dus rust zou ze krijgen. Breezepaw was ex-medicine-cat-apprentice maar ze was afgestapt omdat het haar even teveel werd. Maar snapte katten dan niet wat teveel was ? Ze werd overspoelt met vragen, en dat was juist wat ze niet wou. Breezepaw schudde zich los. Ze wou het even niet. Even nergens aan denken. Ze keek schuin naar de grond en kneep haar ogen stevig dicht. Ze zuchtte, waarbij haar voorpoten naar voren schoten en ze een sprint trok. De wind die door haar vacht woelde, haar gedachtes nergens bij, gewoon niks. Het begon kouder te worden, maar daar besteedde ze geen aandacht aan. Even stopte ze. Ex medicine cat apprentice zijn had zo zijn voordelen, je wist wat je moest doen als je buiten adem was, en wanneer. Ze keek om zich heen, waar ze zich bevond. De Rogue plaatsen. Maar in de verte zag ze een kat met bloed liggen. Het was Suntail ! Breezepaw rende er naartoe en keek naar de verwondingen, zonder enige aandacht te besteden aan de Bloodclan kat die ernaast stond. "Verdwijn, je hebt je prooi gehad" Sprak ze zonder enige angst. Ze was klein, maar zo snel kreeg je haar niet verwond. Snel keek ze weer naar Suntail. Ze pakte de grootse bladeren uit de bosjes en veegde het bloed weg. Waarnaar ze om zich heen keek. Ze had duidelijk geen hulp. Ze controleerde Suntail, maar zag dat haar luchtpijp naar de knoppen was. Er was geen redden meer aan. Breezepaw wist dat Sun graag bij de vierboom was. Sun was een paar koppen groter, maar dragen zou wel lukken, toch ? Breeze legde haar hoofd onder haar rug en gooide haar op haar rug, waardoor hij een beetje verzakte, maar dat maakte haar niks uit. Ze begon te lopen, naar de vierboom.

Na een paar minuten was ze er dan eindelijk, Breeze liep naar de kant van de Windclan en legde haar zachtjes eronder, waardoor ze zelf ook wel onder het bloed zat. Hier kon ze verstoffen, en hier konden we haar herdenken, de prachtige Vierboom.

Vrolijk trippelde ze door het Windclan Territorium. Het was een prachtige dag, niet te koud, niet te warm, maar toch was de lucht best donker. Eigenlijk boeide het haar ook niet.
